The statue of Jesus was placed in a garden to represent the Resurrection and the sighting of Jesus by Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome;

Also (not shown here), a picture of the risen Lord stands in the church in recognition of the Feast of Mercy, the first Sunday after Easter.
The signature reads 'JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU'.

Awaken me

A single cross stands outside the tomb within a quiet corner of the church. It is now covered in golden pins to represent the Cross of Gold. Each pin was placed by those assembled for every prayer they made

Many Thanks To You All
We would like to thank all of you for your generous Easter offerings, gifts and cards. A big thank you also to those who helped to prepare and decorate the Church for Easter, to our singers and musicians, collectors and those involved in the liturgy. It was wonderful to see so many of you at all our masses and services.

Frs. Charles, Jerry, Tom and Sandy.
