The tomb had contained the branch of a tree covered in a white linen sheet to symbolise the wrapped body of Christ;
The
statue of Jesus was placed in a garden to represent the Resurrection and
the sighting of Jesus by Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome;
Also
(not shown here), a picture of the risen Lord stands in the church in recognition
of the Feast of Mercy, the first Sunday after Easter.
The signature reads 'JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU'.
