He breathed on them and said "Receive the Holy Spirit.
For those whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven; for those whose sins
you retain, they are retained."

Prayer for
the Parish Assembly
God of our lives, You are always calling
us to follow you into the future, inviting us to new ventures, new challenges,
new ways to care, new ways to touch the hearts of all.
When we are fearful of the unknown, give us courage. When we worry that
we are not up to the task, remind us that you would not call us if you did
not believe in us.
Renew in us our baptismal calling to follow your Son, Jesus
Christ. Make us truly a eucharistic community. With the prayers of Alban and
Stephen, our patron saints, to help us, may we find out what you want us
to do, and then have the determination to do it. We ask this through Christ
our Lord. Amen.
The Parish Assembly will be held on Saturday,
10th May at All Saints Pastoral Centre.
Human Fertilisation & Embryology Bill
Join the national lobby of Parliament on 14th May from 2.30pm onwards to
tell MPs Anne Main or Peter Lilley at the Houses of Parliament how you feel
about the introduction of animal / human hybrid embryos: saviour siblings
and the removal of fatherhood.

JIGSAW (Jesus is Great and So Are We)
JIGSAW is a brilliant youth club for
young people from Year 7 to 9. We gather together on Thursday nights in the
Parish Hall from 7.45pm to 8.45pm for fun, faith and friendship.
We come from all different schools and parts of St Albans and beyond. We enjoy
doing drama, art, games, ice skating, faith sharing, playing music and rollerblading.
If you would like to come along you would be very welcome to join us.
