The PPC
The Parish Assembly and the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) - 2017

What is the PPC

The PPC (Parish Pastoral Council) works in collaboration with the Priests/Clergy for the time being of the Parish under the direction of the Bishop of Westminster. The PPC is called to participate with the Priests/Clergy for the time being in the Pastoral Ministry of proclaiming God's word, celebrating the sacraments, caring for the faithful, promoting the mission of the Church to the world, and being a good steward of parish resources. The scope includes all the practical matters of Parish life.

What is (was) the Parish Assembly

The parish convenes an Assembly about once every three years. The event is open to the entire parish, and is
the opportunity for us all, as a community to reflect on the time since the previous assembly, review how things have changed, and set the direction for the next three years.

At the most recent meeting, 10th June 2017, the Assembly agreed five areas of strategic importance (some new, and some continuing on from the 2014 Assembly), and set up groups to address them

At the same meeting, new members of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) were elected.

Full details of the 2017 Assembly are available here

Parish Assembly Following the Assembly in July 2017, we now have new members on the PPC.

PPC Team members
There is a core team (currently of three people), additional team members, plus five members responsible for
groups and activities were identified to be "strategic" at the 2017 Parish Assembly.

You can find out more about each of the groups below - who they are, what they're doing and how to contact them (we are still awaiting the details for some of these sections, and hope to have them soon)
