Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process
adopted by the Diocese by which adults gradually become members of the Catholic

Marriage Couples who choose to marry in the parish benefit
our marriage preparation programme, devised by married couples, and which
explores all aspects of a married relationship. It's a four or five
night programme. Contact the presbytery for more

Baptism
Parents
who are bringing their first child for Baptism
are asked to attend
a short preparatory course. Baptisms are on Sundays at 1pm, or at your request
during a Sunday Mass. Courses are run in the parish by Geoff &
Marion Miller or by Anne & Vincent Cosimini. For details of the

1st Holy Communion (The Eucharist)
Children are prepared
for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion within the Parish.
Children in Year 3 or above are invited to apply at the beginning of the
academic year. The programme begins in October with the children preparing
for their First Sacrament of Reconciliation in Advent. First Communion preparation
then begins in the New Year and these take place in June. Application forms
are available at the back of the Church (or you can download a copy here) and should be returned
by 30th September 2008 to the Presbytery.
