Fr Sandy - 25th Anniversary of his Ordination to the priesthood

Father Joe McGee is the Provincial for the MSCs. He attended the MSC seminary with Father Sandy and gave the homily. Fr Sandy was known at the seminary for being meticulous in his preparation and doing all of his 'homework'. Several the Sisters who used to be at Maryland Convent, including Sister Maura, attended the Mass and the celebration in the hall afterwards.

Four Apple pies had been baked, each with a number of it - when the four pies were lined up in the correct order they read '1989', the year of Fr Sandy's Ordination. Fr Sandy made the first cut in a large celebration cake, which was shared with everyone in the hall. Amongst his presents was a large wrapped parcel containing a TV. It was a very joyous and emotional occasion.
.

Many of our parishioners attended, and these are a few of your photos, for which many thanks.
