World Youth Day 2011
In August a group of young parishioners will be
going to Madrid to attend Pope Benedict XVI’s World Youth Day. To raise funds
for this trip our young people will be rolling up their sleeves to earn their
fare! If your car needs a clean then leave it to them. Come to Mass on the
following dates when car washing will be carried out for a modest fee:
Sunday, 26th June, 11.30am at the
Church.
Saturday, 9th July, 5pm at Maryland Convent.
If you would like to support their fundraising efforts, the group will also
be holding tea and cakes sales after Mass at the Church on Sunday, 19th June
at 9.30am Mass & Sunday, 17th July, at 7pm.

at Marshalswick Mass Centre, capturing their hard work! (Well done
to Tom Pugh too, who spoke to the congregation before the final prayer, and
explained more about their plans for WYD in Madrid this year)
